The collaboration between Wyler Vetta and Colmar - companies born in the same years - combines sportiness and elegance, giving life to a three hands model that enriches the Jumbostar category.
While retaining its original features, the new model is tinged with contemporaneity thanks to its patented strap, made of taffetà, Colmar's technical fabric, in the brand's three iconic colors: blue, white and green.
“The meeting with Colmar and the work done together for the new Jumbostar collection has allowed us to cross the history of our two companies that for a century have lived - in parallel - a rich and intense journey. It is a great pleasure for us to have found with our partners the point at which to converge our stories and amplify the values that unite us. We are driven by a strong passion that constantly pushes us to innovate. The collaboration, in fact, has allowed us to explore a different sector and to experiment with new technical and style solutions”, comments Marcello Binda, CEO Wyler Vetta.
“We are very happy with this collaboration project with Wyler Vetta, a company with which we share history and continuous innovation. Both our companies have marked their development with continuous research and creation of innovative products, tested and experimented to obtain maximum performance. What better occasion to celebrate Colmar's 100th birthday!", adds Giulio Colombo, CEO Colmar.
The case of the model is secured by a screw case back with a special decoration that celebrates the collaboration between Colmar and Wyler Vetta: the two logos are flanked by the laser-engraved silhouette of the famous skier Zeno Colò, the first Italian skier to win the downhill at the World Championships in 1952. In the same year, a new discipline was introduced: the giant slalom, of which Colò was the first world champion. At the time, the athlete had expressed the need to wear a high-performance garment and Colmar had the intuition to create the ski outfit with an elastic fabric that from then on became “the Colò sheath”, perfectly adherent and aerodynamic. From then on, the image of the skier's athletic gesture became the symbol of the company.
